I found this worn quilt in Olathe, KS a few weeks ago and was immediately reminded of this crocheted yoke I already had and a post made by Folkling of a quilt top dress Leney made early on in their own shop journey.
The quilt is an antique/vintage turkey red basket quilt that could be from the late 19th century or as late as 1930s. There is some variance in the color of the red fabrics from sun damage.
Despite the damage consistent on the piecing of the quilt, the inner lining provides stability and opaqueness to the garment. Please see photos for the damage to the piecing. The yoke does not have any tears, snags or damage.
